Today, we're recognizing Amy Pinger, who has been serving as a commissioner with the Kansas Volunteer Commission for 9 years. Amy said, "As a Kansas native with a passion for service and advocacy, serving as a Governor appointed Commissioner to the Kansas Volunteer Commission has been an honor. In my time with the Commission, I have had the opportunity to be actively involved in the development of two state service plans, grant review & funding allocations, service enterprise accreditation, and volunteer training benefiting nonprofit partners and schools across Kansas. l am thankful for the opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the country through the ASC network to advocate for investments in and improvements to national service."
