Leadership Convening

ASC will be hosting its annual Leadership Convening February 13-16, 2023 in Arlington, VA. Leadership Convening brings together executive directors and commissioners from state and territorial service commissions across the country to discuss high-level trends and developments, revisit strategic goals, report on association progress, and foster cross-state collaboration and best practice sharing. Commission leadership should check their email for additional information, including a link to register.

Investing in AmeriCorps Alums

Last week, Senators Coons, Wicker, Reed, Cassidy, Baldwin, and Cornyn issued a press release — which quotes ASC CEO Kaira Esgate — about a letter they sent to the AmeriCorps agency calling for renewed efforts, including a new office, to engage AmeriCorps alums.

ASC Winter Break

ASC will be closed for its annual winter break beginning December 24, 2022. Staff will return from the break on January 3, 2023. Happy Holidays!

TTA Directory Sign-Ups

We invite all national service trainers and consultants to consider submitting an application for our 2023 TTA Directory. The directory is released annually on our website and shared with 52 commissions and over 600 AmeriCorps programs.
